Thank you for stopping by the Naples Chapter Sons of the
American Revolution Website. Here you will find all the
information you will need about the Naples Chapter - which is
the only Chapter within Collier County, Florida. So if you
happen to be visiting Naples or Marco Island - please plan to
visit one of our meetings. You are always welcome!

Sunday, 27 JANUARY 2008, 5:00 p.m.
PATRIOTIC MOMENT at Sugden Plaza
Camp Bernardo De Galvez, the Color Guard unit of the Naples
Chapter will be ceremoniously lowering the flag at sunset on
5th Avenue South at the Sugden Plaza between McCabe's Pub
and Yabba's Restaurant. All uniformed participants should be
present a few minutes early to prepare for the ceremony. All
compatriots (participating or not) are encouraged to attend and
support this patriotic event.

Regular Chapter Meeting at Elks Lodge
Our annual salute to the young cadets of Collier County's
J.R.O.T.C. program. One cadet and his instructor will be
present from each of the area's high schools. See what sets
them apart from their peers and hear their aspirations about
becoming better citizens!

CHAPTER CHARTER DAY CELEBRATION
at the Country Club of Naples
Fellowship & cocktails at 5:30 p.m.,
Dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Each year in March we celebrate the original Charter of the
Naples Chapter and present awards to those members who
continue to make this Chapter something it's founders to be
proud of. Come be a part of this annual event. The location,
and exact date and time have yet to be determined. Our guest
speaker will be Rebecca O'Dell Townsend who will discuss
"Our Current Constitutional Crisis" If Ms. Townsend's name
seems familiar, it should. She spoke at the DAR's Constitution
Week Celebration this past year and those of us SAR's who
heard her felt her message was important enough to bear
repeating at our celebration.

As the last of our Youth programs of the season we
acknowledge the Boy Scouts of America with this Scouting
Recognition meeting.

The final meeting of our 2007-2008 season, and the election
and installation of the new slate of officers for the 2008-2009
season!

Independence Day Parade in Downtown Naples
Join your Chapter as we march in Colonial attire and ride
down the oldest streets in Naples during our Nation's birthday
and one of our favorite activities of the year!!
