Camp Bernardo De Galvez #13

The Color Guard unit for the Naples
Chapter is Camp #13 or Bernardo De
Galvez, named in honor of the Spanish
Governor of Louisiana who on his own
accord joined in the cause of American
Independence and with his well-trained
militia chased the British entirely out of
Florida - which at the time continued from
the panhandle all the way to New Orleans.

Uniform Reimbursement Program

Naples Chapter has a unique program to
promote the donning of Colonial dress
within the Chapter. They will pay 50% of
the cost of any member's outfit! Through
fund-raising efforts initiated and continued
by Past President Paul Young the Chapter
is able to offer this benefit to its members.
And besides who hasn't wanted to dress up
like George Washington or Benjamin
Franklin - and the kids love it!
Past President Donald Cahill is the Color Guard Commander for Camp Galvez and can be reached
at either his numbers in the Chapter Directory, the Naples' Crier newsletter, or through contacting
the Webmaster -
